PRIVACY INFORMATION FOR THE USE OF DATA ON THE FIERASMART365 PLATFORM FOR B2B PURPOSES AND DIGITAL CATALOGUE

Pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR"), the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), with headquarters in Via Liszt 21, 00144 Rome ITALY, as Data Controller, informs users that the personal data provided through the platform for B2B meetings and the creation of the digital catalogue will be processed exclusively for purposes related to the organization and management of meetings and networking activities planned within the initiative.

The provision of data is necessary to enable participation in B2B meetings and for the creation of the digital catalogue. Failure to provide this data will make it impossible to use the service. The processing will take place in compliance with the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency, and protection of confidentiality, in accordance with current legislation.

The data provided will be used automatically by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and may be communicated to third parties involved in the organization of the event, in compliance with the principles of necessity and proportionality.

Data subjects can exercise the rights granted by Articles 15-22 of the GDPR at any time, including:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): to obtain confirmation of the existence of processing of personal data concerning them and to receive a copy of such data;
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): to request the modification or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") (Art. 17 GDPR): to obtain the erasure of personal data in the cases provided for by law;
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): to request the temporary suspension of processing under certain conditions;
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): to receive their data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or to request its transfer to another controller;
  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): to object, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to the processing of personal data based on legitimate interest or carried out for direct marketing purposes;
  • Right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR): to request human intervention in the case of decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling.

Requests relating to the exercise of these rights can be sent by e-mail to fs365@ice.it or privacy@ice.it, specifying in the subject line "Request to exercise privacy rights" and indicating in the body of the message:

  • The right they intend to exercise;
  • The data necessary for user identification;
  • Any information useful to facilitate the processing of the request.

The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) will respond within the timeframe provided for by Art. 12 GDPR, generally within one month of receiving the request, except for any extensions in the cases provided for by law. If the user believes that the processing of their data violates current legislation, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, according to the procedures indicated on the Authority's official website (www.garanteprivacy.it).
